Dan Naylor: Commercial Photographer and Commercial Artist

I believe my perspective as a designer and artist, adds a creative dimension to the often technical challenges faced by professional photographers.

After graduating from the Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia, PA I worked initially as a commercial artist and illustrator, and then as a partner in Walker & Naylor, Inc., which was one of the first companies in the region to adapt computer technology to the graphic arts. From there we became Naylor DeDonato & Wolf. Along the way I developed an interest and later a passion for photography. In 2006 I went back out on my own as Dan Naylor Photography.

Although based in the Philadelphia area, my assignments take me throughout the United States and Canada.

How we work:

A project is quoted based on a per day, or half day rate plus the number of final shots to be delivered. For the best results, I prefer to have my client with me at the shoot. On occasion I do have shoots where images are being emailed for approval as we shoot, but it does reduce the number of shots that can be accomplished in a day. As a reassurance to new customers, If you are not happy with the photos from our shoot, you will not be invoiced upon the condition, that you remove all of the images we shot from your files.

Our approach to video is different, in that we do not operate with a dozen plus production crew, which has it’s place. For the smaller video projects, we are the right choice.
